Utility Managers and Supervisors ensure the organization mission is met by driving innovation and effectively leading staff.
Utility Managers/Supervisors provide employees with a clear line of sight to the organization’s mission, strategic goals and operational priorities. Leaders are responsible for providing clear standards for employee achievement, coaching and developing employees through regular and timely feedback and planning and goal-setting to meet both current and future business objectives.

Education and Training
The education/experience requirements vary by position. Generally, supervisors require a High School Diploma or GED and multiple years of experience, or some equivalent combination of experience and education. Managers typically require a Bachelor’s degree and multiple years of experience, or some equivalent combination of education and experience. Excellent computer skills and a working knowledge of applicable software programs are essential. Other key requirements are effective verbal and written communications, strong analytical, planning and organizational skills, and excellent leadership, interpersonal and problem-solving abilities.
